so I have a habit of writing a new post to 90% complete and then forgetting to post! that last post was about a week old.
so we're actually now 4 days away!
.... AND
had a successful shopping outing last weekend and picked up some cute items that will be perfect for Turkey including the ones below so I think we're officially ALL SET. (though i am still looking for cute pairs of regular shorts if anyone has recommendations)
this weekend we'll focus on wrapping up any last minute to-dos (I have checklists going like you would not believe... notifying credit card companies we'll be in Turkey/picking up an electrical converter/etc/etc!)

can't wait to share the journey when we return. I am so excited to meet the people of Turkey, experience their beautiful culture and heritage and enjoy the gorgeous landscape.... and admittedly we're both pretty excited to eat Turkish food and relax on the beach as well!!

This trip will be great – though the big question is how long will it take before I get us hopelessly lost in the Turkish countryside! Damn my sense of direction!
